Boys Writing Club

Room 2 has set up a Boys Writing Club which operates every Thursday during writing time.
Boys in Room 2 have been given a buddy from Room 5 to act as their peer support when they write. We are looking forward to some wonderful writing - keep watching the blog for our results.

Co-operative Seascapes

As part of working co-operatively together Room 2 have been creating seascapes.
We split up into groups of 4 and planned and designed our seascape as a group, with everyone contributing to the design and drawing.
We are working hard on these and they should be completed soon.

Paua Shell

As part of our beach unit Kaiden bought in a large paua shell for us to
look at.  We read Tangaroa's Gift to find out how the paua got its beautiful colours.
