Autumn Leaves Writing

Autumn Leaves

Brown and orange cover the ground like mud.
Crumpled edges as bright as the sun twirling from the tree.
They crash to the ground like a crackling like a witch, the veins are the only things that survived.
The leaves are orange like lava.

Leaves lay in a pile like a colourful carpet.
They flutter down like a butterfly.
The crunch is as loud as a lions roar.
Thousands of colourful leaves gently touch the ground like little silky feathers landing on your finger tip.
Shades of brown, red, orange and yellow coming together like chocolate and caramel, slowly come to an end.

Down the tree comes a group of leaves gold like the stars.
They make a soft blanket like a quilt on a bed.
They crunch like when someone’s eating a crunchie bar.
Sun shines on the leaves and makes them glow as bright as glow worms.
The leaves turn as brown as chocolate and crunch up when someone touches them.

Golden and brown leaves twirl on to the ground like ballerinas.
On the ground they look like a colourful carpet.
They feel like crunched up paper and sound like toast when you bite into it.

Bright colours, yellow, brown, red and orange gently float along with the wind.
Gracefully they land like aeroplanes that have just started coming in.
Piles of leaves like carpets lie softly on the ground as soft as sheep’s skin.
Leaves sit peacefully on the end of branches like people waiting at the top of slides.
Beams of sunrays make the leaves look like gold.
I love leaves in autumn.

Leaves shoot past me like shooting stars crashing to the ground.
Floating leaves are dark brown like delicious dairy milk chocolate.
A waterfall of colourful leaves fall to the ground and form a soft crunchy pillow like the pillow on my bed.

Leaves as yellow as the sun spread across the ground like a carpet.
They twirl like a ballerina down from the tree.
Crunch, they crumple up like paper.
They are as colourful as a rainbow.
When the sun shines on them they glow like bright glow worms.
